Proverbs 29:5

“A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.”

This tells what will happen if you don’t tell someone that they are wrong when they are. Have you ever liked spending time with someone so much that you never disagree with them? Well this isn’t a very good way to be a true friend. A true friend will tell you when you are wrong.

By telling someone that you think they are wrong it may save them from a lot of hurt in various ways. It may give them a chance to stop and correct a situation or thing they are doing. If they value, you as a true friend they will accept the correction. If not, they may get mad at you. In the end you have to live with yourself so don’t wait correct them today.
