204. Don’t wear out your welcome

Proverbs 25:17
Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour’s house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.
When I was a child my mother use to tell me, “Don’t wear out your welcome” when I would spend to much time at a friend’s house day after day. When I was a child I used to spend every single day with the same friends. We never got tired of each other.
Then I grew up. You have things to take care of. One thing you need to do as you get older is to rest more and rejuvenate.
