198. Answer not, the question

Proverbs 14:3
“In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.”
Don’t let your words over load what you can carry. Learn to speak intelligently and precisely. Learn to think befor you speak. If the answer is needed now and you don’t have it then let your answer be, “I will not answer”

197. Walk the walk

Proverbs 11:3
“The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.”

We should try our hardest to always do what we say we will do. We should try our hardest to always live like we are in a live studio audience show. We should try are hardest to always be kind and just to others.

196. Be good

Proverbs 10:1
“The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.”
Being wise is doing what is right. Proverbs 10:1 is telling us to respect our parents and don’t be a burden on them. Make your parents proud. As a parent success is to have your children be able to make it on their own.

195 give up the herd mentality

Proverbs 9:6
“Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.”
Just because it is legal and accepted does not make it right. We could go into many things with this post, but I don’t want to trigger anyone. There are a lot of things that are accepted today that hurt us that were looked down upon in the recent past. Debt
We are taught these days that debt is normal debt it good we can even use debt to gain our food. When you are given your first loan you are pretty proud of yourself. Debt is like selling your soul to Satan itself. Debt is crippling. Debt forces you to slave for others.
Live with in your means. GOD doesn’t want you to be a slave or have any earthly masters. You cannot serve two masters in this life. GOD gave us free will and all that it entails. Use that free will wisely and be truly free and self-reliant while living out this earthly existence.

194. Wisdom is everywhere. Give it time.

Proverbs 8:2
“She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.”
If we just look and listen in life, there is always a better way to do things. It may come from advice from a friend or a stranger. A lot of information is available on the internet. It is so easy to do a google search.
What if time has the answer for us. There are times I don’t have the answers I am looking for. I ask. I do internet searches, and nothing comes up. I stay up late thinking about it. I wake up way to early thinking about it.

193. Leave it alone

Proverbs 7:26
“For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.”
There are things in life that we must not toil with at all. These things can be different depend on your make up. For instance, alcohol: Some people can drink alcohol and they are fine. Some people have one sip and there is not stopping them until they drink so much they become another person. They will be one of the two either crying or fighting. There are other things in life that can bring us down. Procrastination is one of them. I often wonder how many people have been ruined by procrastination?

191. Don’t discount the past

Proverbs 4:2
“For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.”
The book of Proverbs is the wise sayings of the ones who came long before us. The entire Holy Bible is full of great information to help us live a full and self-sufficient life. If you are of the Judeo-Christian belief, then the number one priority is to Love GOD more than any other thing. Second most important is to be good to others.
It sounds so simple, Be good to others. It is harder than you think. The best way to be good is to surround yourself with good things and good people. It may also mean that you need to spend more time alone.
Don’t discount the past. Many people would like to rewrite history. Some are even trying to rewrite the Bible. Keep it the way it is. There is a lot to learn from it. If you change it will mean that people who read it are more likely to repeat the past

191. The Joy of having your stuff together.

Proverbs 3:25
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

Having faith that the “Giver of all Good Things” will make you feel better. Remember “faith without works is dead”. We must constantly be prepared for whatever may come our way. When you are truly prepared you can change your prayers from God take care of me to God show me how I can help others. Then you will know true Joy in life.

190. Righteousness

Proverbs 2:21

For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

Are you ready for the new year? What are your plans going forward? I have always heard that, “If you want to hear GOD laugh, then tell GOD your plans”.

One thing we can do it start treating people better.

189. Listen

Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

As we start the new year make it a point to be a little quieter. Make it a point to listen to the silence with a keener ear. You just may hear a little more.
