272. Advice from Christ (Love the unlovable)

Luke 6:32

“If you love only someone who loves you, will God praise you for that? Even sinners love people who love them.”

I really find it hard to add to this advice from Christ. I think that many Christians of the past might have gotten it wrong in a lot of ways. Maybe they were taught in the wrong ways and just did what they thought was right. I am not making mistakes for them in any way. I think they may have turned more off than they turned on to Christ. In no way does it state that you should force others into believing and loving GOD. In fact, we are supposed to love others into believing in GOD and excepting the good news of Jesus Christ and him dying on a cross for our sins to be forgiven.

Christ taught we should love one another no matter what. Alexander Pope wrote the following; “To err is human, to forgive is divine.” We will not make it into Heaven unless we love others into Heaven also.
