262. Advice from Christ (Clean Up)

2Suggested Reading — Mark 7:14-23

After reading the right act to the establishment about uncleanliness Jesus spoke to the people about what makes you unclean. There is no food that makes you unclean and that it is your actions from your heart and soul that make you unclean. The actions he mentioned are as follows: evil thoughts, vulgar deeds, stealing, murder, 22 unfaithfulness in marriage, greed, meanness, deceit, indecency, envy, insults, pride, and foolishness of these come from your heart and make you unfit to have fellowship with GOD.

I am Guilty of some of these acts and I ask for forgiveness from the Omnipotent One. I will work on having a cleaner heart and soul and I ask for GOD’s and your help.

261. Things are not always as they seem

Proverbs 25:8

“Be sure you are right before you sue someone, or you might lose your case and be embarrassed.”

There are many times in life that we may feel wronged by others. You must ask yourself if this is really the case that you have been wronged? It is human nature to always believe that you are always right. In the present time we see this belief outright in our face everyday on social media. If we see something that we believe is right and mostly we want it to be right, we share it with out fact checking it. We condemn others before we try to analyze the what when, where, and why.

Starting now go forth and question everything you see that is of this world. I recommend that you read the bible and question it. Read it and reread it several times. I guarantee that if you leave your mind open and seek then you will find that each time you read a book it will reveal more and more light to you. Once you see and feel the light then let it shine.

260. Never listen to emotions

Proverbs 24:6

“Battles are won by listening to advice and making a lot of plans.”

We shouldn’t ever listen to emotions and let them get the best of us. We should always seek advice when it comes to waging our own personal wars. We may find from another person’s perspective that our problem is quite trivial when look upon by eyes which are not ours. Christ taught us to love others as we would love ourselves. That we should openly show love toward our enemy’s.

Openly showing love for someone who has wrong us may just be the hardest hit you could ever give someone.

259. Protect those who need it

Proverbs 23:10-11

“Don’t move a boundary marker or take the land that belongs to orphans. God All-Powerful is there to defend them against you.”

God is telling us that we need to do what is in our power to help others if we can. If we have the power and influence to help stop people from stealing from the misfortunate, then we should. If we don’t help when we can we won’t be helped when we need it.

257.Advice from Christ (Help those in Need)

Matthew 25:33-36

Today is Good Friday! This is the day that Jesus Christ was put to death for our sins at the hands of the Religious Establishment of the Israelites of the times. That had a history of rejecting GOD and the things he did for them.

Jesus tells us that he will recognize us in Heaven if we take care of those in need on this earth. By taking care of those who can’t help themselves we are taking care of Him. Starting today if you feel a need needs to be filled then fill it. God will weigh on your spirit when he needs you to do something. Don’t reject it. Let GOD flow through you.

I love all of you and I pray for you every night. I hope you do the same for me. May GOD bless you this Easter.

256. It is better to be silent at times

Proverbs 18:2

“Fools have no desire to learn; they would rather give their own opinion.”

As the old saying goes; “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.” Opinions should be kept to yourself if one is asking about facts. Only give opinions when someone says, “What is your opinion?” if you don’t have one or have no clue on the subject then say so and be quiet.

255. Quit Fooling around

Proverbs 17:10

“A sensible person accepts correction, but you can beat sense into a fool.”

There comes a time you must decide if you can continue correcting someone or do you need to let them fall victim to their own devices. I am not saying to give up on them totally. Sometimes all you can do for some people is to pray for them. Pray for GOD to intervene in their lives and help them to see the error of their ways.

254. Be flexible

Proverbs 16:1

“We humans make plans, but the lord has the final word.

There is an old saying I like to tell people when the moment suits it, “If you want to hear GOD laugh then tell him your plans.”

Proverbs 16:1 can remind us that life isn’t always going to go the way we want it. It will how ever go the way it needs to go so we can be ready when the need arises.

253. Your time and your prayer

Proverbs 15:8

“The lord is disgusted by gifts from the wicked, but it makes him happy when his people pray”

Matthew 18:19 tells us, “I promise that when any two of you on earth agree about something you are praying for, my Father in heaven will do it for you.”

For those who have been with me know about the situation of my Son and the mass that is in his neck on his spinal cord. Last year when he went in for surgery my family was scared to death. I asked everyone that I knew to pray for my son. One thing my Christian faith has taught me is that prayer works. There is no doubt in my mind that that is what helped my son and help my family to deal with it.

Give a little of you time today and pray for other people.
