308. Wisdom of the past

Proverbs 1:3

“You will learn what is right and honest and fair.”

If you read the book of Proverbs you will have a greater understanding that the problems of dealing with others are the same problems, you will deal with in this day and age. We have technology now, but the same problem of human filthiness is around.

307. Advice from Christ (Only worry, where you are going)

 Luke 4:24

“But you can be sure that no prophets are liked by the people of you home town.”

When we start making the positive walk to making your life better a happiness will show on our face. This happiness comes from being self-reliant on worldly things that we don’t have to worry about. It comes also from reliance on GOD for our spiritual well being lso. People will see this happiness and one of two things; either ask you how you became so happy or try to knock you down to to their level of unhappiness. Do your best to get away from the second one.

We should only worry about making our life and those around us lives better. If someone wants to be miserable leave them to it. I find myself falling in to the trap of unhappiness from time to time. It is hard to crawl out of that trap. Pray for God to take that negative from you and give you strength to get away from it. AMEN.

306. Strive to reduce strife

Proverbs 27:4

“An angry person is dangerous, but a jealous person is even worse.”

We shouldn’t brag or boast about anything we do in this life. If people ask you can be honest with them, but don’t put it in their face like you are better than them. Always remember that no matter how good you think you are there is someone out there who will not like you and is ready to pounce when given the chance. Don’t give them a chance. Do your good deeds in secrecy if possible. You and the Lord will know about it and you will be rewarded.

Just by doing good in church it can make people jealous. They will think, “look at that horses rear giving their extra money in front of everybody. I remember years ago when they hurt my cousin’s friend’s sisters’ cousins’ friends pet lizard. They are bad.”

305. Fooling around with fools

Proverbs 26:5

“But if you answer any fools, show how foolish they are, so they won’t feel smart”

The proverb right before this warns you not to look foolish by answering a fool. If the fool requires an answer be very careful and be very sure you know what you are doing. Also remember if you spend too much time with fools you will be thought of being a fool since birds of a feather flock together. So, don’t tarry to long.

304. Quick to listen slow to speak

Proverbs 25:11

“The right word at the right time is like precious gold set in silver.”

If we would think before we speak our lives would be so much easier. I have been actively trying my best to do this. I will admit some terrible things do make it past the ivory bars holding the tongue back. Remember our words can heal so think about ways you can say things to heal and comfort others.

303. Are you a fool?

Proverbs 24:7

“Wisdom is too much for fools! Their advice is no good.

What is a fool? According to the WWW it is a person who acts unwisely or imprudently; a silly person as a verb it is to trick or deceive.

In the modern times a lot of people regard Christians as fools. If I were to arrive here on this earth and had never been here I would agree with them. We are supposed to be a group that believes that Jesus Christ was the son of GOD who came to this earth in human form to suffer and die for our sins as a sacrifice to end all sacrifices. This Jesus Christ after rising from the dead and before departing back to heaven commanded us to love one another and we do a down right terrible job doing it. Even I do a terrible job at being a Christian. Yes, I drink. Yes, I get angry. Yes, I have bad thoughts. I am acknowledging my sins and I am doing my best to do better. Will I be perfect from now on? No, I cannot be perfect. It is impossible to be perfect. Don’t let perfection stand in the way of progress.

Dear Omnipotent One please send your Holy spirit to weigh on our hearts to love one another. Not to love to be taken advantage of but to love to change other hearts into loving hearts for Christ.

302. Advice from Christ (How to create heaven on earth)

John 13:34-35

” But I am giving you a new command. You must love each other, just as I have loved you. If you love each other, everyone will know that you are my disciples.”

The world really needs to really listen to these spoken words of Jesus Christ. We live in a physically better than ever world, but we are getting morally worse as the days go on. Some say, “It is getting gloriously dark”.

It is GOD’s will for us to love each other. If we love one another then how can we hurt one another. Love is a give to give relationship. If we truly loved one another we would know no hungry people if we weren’t hungry. We wouldn’t know anyone who was sick or dying just because they couldn’t afford the treatments. We would all do to help and not to profit. No one would be ashamed of themselves and what they feel they are.

If we want heaven on earth, we must love others no matter what they are. How do you expect to be loved if you don’t love first? Jesus loved us first and even died for us so that we could live with him for eternity. Now that is powerful love.

301. Work on loving others by being positive

Proverbs 20:9

“Can any of us really say, “My thoughts are pure, and my sins are gone”?

We are human, and no human is without sin. Not you. Not me. Not even the pope is without sin. We need to work on perfect. We need to try to be perfect. Will we ever get there? Well, no you won’t. Be the constant trying I what we have to do to be better.

Today I confess I have had a negative spirit for a little while now. I will do my best to slay that negative spirit and fight forward and be positive. If we can be more positive, we can infect others to be so also.

299. I must listen more

Proverbs 18:13

“It’s stupid and embarrassing to give an answer before you listen”

I sometimes listen to people and they seem to be dragging something out, so I start answering before they finish. I shouldn’t do this. I will actively do my best to listen more and understand as much as I can.
