298. The love of money is the root of all evil

Proverbs 17:7

“It sounds strange for a fool to talk sensibly, but it’s even worse for a ruler to tell lies.

I heard Ron Paul make a statement today, “The only time you know a politician is telling the truth is when they admit to lying”.

Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a world where people didn’t think they needed to be ruled over? Most today are convinced that they must have someone to tell them what to do. It would be fine and dandy if people where not corruptible. The sad fact is that humans are corruptible. The ones that people elect to rule over them are corruptible. The first day one the job the money is waved in their faces and then that is who they listen to.

Please pray for divine intervention for our country and for the earth itself.

297. Advice from Christ (Will Diversity Destroy us)

Mark 3:24-25

“A nation whose people fight each other won’t last very long. A family that fights won’t last long either.”

In the United States there has been a growing evil that seeks to divide our country. We live in Great times as far as poverty goes but we also live in divided times. Tensions are high, and everyone is worried about each other. We should all learn to live our own lives and worry about others when our house is perfect.

The Controlled Gooberment Tax Feeders and he controlled media seek to divide us. If we would all take time to notice one thing it would be that we all need to fix me instead of us.

If you and I don’t start worrying about ourselves then this great Country will fail. If someone is doing something you think is not right, then you must pray about it. Give it up to GOD and let GOD handle it. Don’t try to take care of what you can’t take care of.

296. Don’t burn yourself out

Proverbs 13:9

“The lamp of a good person keeps on shining; the lamp of an evil person soon goes out.”

Today’s verse tells us that if you get your means by being evil that you will be constantly running from those with whom you have stolen from.

Kind of reminds me of tax feeders. They are constantly making laws that seem only to protect them and shore up their raping and pillaging of the ones who live on this planet.

Pray for these tax feeders that they will one day realize that what they think is right is actually wrong.

295. Be kind to all living things

  Proverbs 12:10

“Good people are kind to their animals, but a mean person is cruel.”

Many times, in the Bible it tells us to be good to each other. In fact, Jesus told us that the second most important commandment was to love others as you love yourself. We should also be good to our animals. This includes pets, beast of burden, and any food animals that we may have.

294. A good way to lose friends

Proverbs 11:15

“It’s a dangerous thing to guarantee payment for someone’s debts. Don’t do it!”

If you never want to see a friend again then loan them money. If you want to lose a friend, then co-sign for them on a loan.

Never loan money to people you love and like. If you have it then give it to them.  Don’t co-sign on a loan for them unless you want to make the payments for the person.

293. Don’t over sell it.

Proverbs 10:19

“You will say the wrong thing if you talk too much—so be sensible and watch what you say.”

I had a colleague of mine who once told a student that if the buyer says yes then stop selling it. We should use a little communication as possible to convince someone to accept what we want. If you keep speaking about it, you may slip and say something wrong and then they won’t want it.

292. Advice from Christ (Don’t test the lord)

Luke 4:12

“Jesus answered, “The scriptures say, ‘Don’t try to test the lord your God!’”

When in difficult times or before and great undertaking we should invoke the blessing of the Most High. Let us not say, “if you want us to do this then show us a sign.” We will be sitting there forever waiting. We must listen with our minds but make sure it isn’t our emotions. We must have faith to do what we are told, but we must act also. The first actions can be to research and get advice.

Remember we should pray pray and pray some more.

291. Let your lamp shine brightly

Proverbs 6:23

“The Law of the Lord is a lamp, and its teachings shine brightly. Correction and self-control will lead you through life.”

If we follow the teachings that we learn from the word of GOD our path will be clearer in life.

We should self-control our anger and remember that love is the best way to make last change with someone.

We should correct ourselves if needed and go back to the basic’s and learn to once again control our emotions and not let them get us into trouble.

Go through your day and smile at everyone you pass. Don’t be discouraged by those who don’t smile back. Pray for them.

290. Some rules must be followed

Proverbs 5:13-14

“I paid no attention to my teachers, and now I am disgraced in front of everyone”

When someone tells you hey don’t do that, you should always ask why not. If they say they don’t know, then you must investigate why not. If they give a valid reason like, “Because bees will fly out of that if you hit it and sting you.” You should listen and follow their advice.

Don’t go through your entire life trying to disobey every rule that was ever written. Remember some rules are there because some one loss their life by breaking it and I don’t mean by being punished.

289. Guard your thoughts

Proverbs 4:23

“Carefully guard your thoughts because they are the source of true life.”

Today’s Proverb is telling us that we should surround ourselves with the things we want to be and accomplish. We should make it an active effort to read the word of GOD every day. If we want to become self-reliant we must read, learn, & watch self-reliant subjects and people.

You may find it hard to guard your thoughts in the word today with all the information flowing like raging rivers all around us. Our creator made most of us so that we can only concentrate on one thing at a time. Concentrate on what you want to become and how you want it to be.
